I have to say I was really inspired by Sharon Smith. I love her colors and the whimsey of her patterns. She is a fun creative person. So with the inspiration I have been to the drawing board. now if I could just hide out and hook!

PRIMITVE BENCH
I have this sweet little primitive child's bench. I think I only paid $15.00. I don't want to paint it, but it is a little drab. I have some antique china dolls that sit on the bench. I thought I would make a rug for it. Good fortune shines as this last week was our Sharon Smith class. This was put on by our guild. You can check out our blog and the wonderful time that was had by all. www.utahrugandfiberguild.com Anyhow I had three days to hook all day long. Started and finish with much fun in between. I wish I could do this at least once a month.

Your rug for the bench is so beautiful. The colors are rich and yes should we say it again PERFECT. I wish everyone should see it in person. Love it.
ReplyDeleteI love your bench and your rug. Then I saw all of the pictures of your new house. What a wonderful house. Was it like that when you bought it with those lovely wood floors? The built in beds are fantastic. Your view is really pretty too.
