My great uncle built a small bench for my mother and her sisters it had a side view of a cat on each end. I like wise played on the cat bench when I was small. My aunt gave me the bench years ago and my children and grandchildren have played on the bench here it is although I have repainted it many times since.I hang hooked rugs on it from time to time. And had the ideal that others might like to have such a bench so... I had that man of mine make some to sell. Then we adapted the back to put a hooked rug or quilt or what ever you desire. I then designed a pattern to go with it.
I really like how they turned out --won't these be fun for my sisters at Christmas!
