POULTRY PICKINGS

I am not a big fan of winter.  It's not the snow but the cold. Winter belongs in December and in the mountains. I can't wait for spring to show herself. So I busied myself with Spring chicks,  four of them.

My Husband has a hard time wrapping the idea of a large and then small chicks, not to mention a chicken can't hold a wheel barrow. He has no imagination.

Then he says what is with the eggs growing on a tree. Ha! I tell him chicken's have egg trees don't you know? They really do! Look it up.

Last on this post I thought to post an original Kaleb Jorgensen design.

Back in December my grandson was visiting. He saw my hooking frame and notice I had nothing on it. He wanted to know why. I said I need to draw a new pattern to hook and I hadn't done one yet. So he left and came back a while later with a pattern for me to hook. What do you think?

  2. I think you'd better hook it. Love how the rug turned out, can't wait to see it all finished at hooking.
