A STEP UP

I have been busy working on a couple of new furniture pieces. The first is a step stool that you do not have to bend over to move it around. I find it quite handed for those of us who need a step up. I have had several different ones over the years. This one I found at the thrift store and gave to my Daughter. She loves it. My husband laughed at it because it was definitely a homemade job. However I saw the possibilities and so commissioned him to make me one with some improvements of course. Here is the unpainted version.

I had my husband put an insert on the back of the stool so you could add a hooked rug or some other needle craft.
I then designed a little hooked rug for the stool.

I painted the stool a red with gold trim.
Here is the finished product. I will be taking several to Denver next week for the Hookin and will be putting them on my website for sale soon.
